Pool Information

UPDATE: The Hillsborough Pool opens on May 29, 2010, and closes on September 6, 2010.

The Hillsborough pool offers a fun, family atmosphere for over 150 families each year. Our classic pool is 9 feet deep and features a diving board and a slide. Small children can enjoy the safe and shaded kiddie pool. Family fun starts with safety so we employ a staff of lifeguards with two guards on duty any time the pool is open. There are plenty of lounge chairs and patio tables for the parents to relax while the children play in the pool.

Bring your picnic and enjoy a day of fun at the Hillsborough pool.

Pool Schedule
The pool is open Tuesday through Sunday from Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day Weekend. Members can reserve the pool for parties on Monday afternoons.

Membership Fees
The pool offers memberships to Hillsborough residents as well as non residents. For the 2010 season, residents pay $220 per season and non-residents pay $230. A resident is a homeowner who pays an annual HPOA Lot Assessment. Lot assessments are usually issued in March and due by May 1. A non-resident may reside in a home that is accessed through the Hillsborough common entrance yet does not live on an HPOA-designated lot.

Senior Memberships
The HPOA now offers a new membership category for our local grandparents. This "Senior Membership" category is designed to be economical for members who occasionally visit the pool but would like the ability to bring guests – especially grandchildren. The senior membership is $140 for two family members.

Hammerheads Swim Team
The Hillsborough Swim Team, named Hillsborough Hammerheads, is a member of the West Little Rock Optimist Summer Swim League that was originally established in 1978. Today, 15 neighborhood teams sponsored by their homeowners associations participate in the League. The Hillsborough Hammerheads are in the League's Silver Division and compete against other neighborhood teams during the summer. A city-wide championship meet is held at the end of the swim season. Children aged 4 to 14 can participate on the swim team.
